I’m dizzy, Doc! Thursday 21st January 2010, Nuffield Health / GGPET

The meeting at Nuffield Health Hospital, Cheltenham on Thursday 21st January was very well attended. It was the first joint Nuffield Health / GGPET meeting.
There were spaces for 30 doctors, but 45 actually managed to register – and turn up. People were sitting on the floor!
There was a lot of audience participation and the meeting went on for almost 90 minutes!

I have uploaded my PowerPoint presentation, minus the videos. However, I have given the video links below.
PowerPoint Presentation:
Video Links:
- Unusual cause of collapse
- Brandt-Daroff Repositioning Exercises
- Dix-Hallpike Test
- Epley Maneouvre following a Dix-Hallpike Test
Folks were keep to learn how to rip YouTube videos off the Internet and embed them in PowerPoint, so I shall explain how to do that too!
How to rip YouTube videos off the Internet:
- Download the free YouTube Downloader software
- Install and run.
- Select the video you want and download it at the highest quality available
How to embed a YouTube video into Powerpoint:
- Convert the downloaded YouTube video from .flv format to either Windows Media format .wmv or .avi format using your video editing software or an online converter.
- Then open PowerPoint – Insert – Media Clip – Movie.
- Adjust the image size to fit your slide – job done!
Thank you Dr Deering

Excellent web-site Dr Deering. The medical content was very imformative, and the videos were beautifully constructed. I would ditch the sandals though!! Well done.
